La Consejería de Sanidad del Gobierno de Canarias ha confirmado que desde el 1 de octubre no se prorrogará la orden relativa a la realización de cribados a viajeros nacionales a la llegada a Canarias, tanto por vía aérea o marítima. A partir del día 1 de octubre, por tanto, ya no será necesario que la población mayor de 12 años presente un certificado vacunal contra la COVID-19 o una prueba de infección activa negativa o la acreditación de haber pasado la enfermedad.
Control en los alojamientos turísticos
No obstante, la norma que regula las condiciones de acceso a los alojamientos turísticos en Canarias continúa vigente, mediante la cual los mayores de 12 años deben presentar en el recinto hotelero de un certificado vacunal, de prueba diagnósticas de infección activa negativa o de haber superado la enfermedad.
Quedan excluidos de esta norma:
– las personas que acrediten la condición de residente en Canarias y declaren bajo su responsabilidad no haber abandonado su territorio en los 15 días previos a su llegada al establecimiento, y que además en dicho período no ha tenido síntomas compatibles con la COVID-19.
– Las personas, con independencia de su lugar de residencia, que acrediten haber estado fuera de la Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias por un plazo inferior a 72 horas previas a la llegada, habiendo permanecido en su territorio durante los 15 días anteriores al citado periodo de ausencia inferior a 72 horas, y que además declaren bajo su responsabilidad que en dicho período no ha tenido síntomas compatibles con la COVID-19.
The Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands has announced that from today, Friday October 1st, the requirement for national travellers to present a vaccination certificate against COVID-19 or a negative test result or proof of having passed the disease, will no longer be necessary when arriving at ports or airports in the archipelago from the mainland. If you are not a resident of Spain, the requirement is still there.
However, the decree that regulates the conditions of access to tourist accommodation in the Canary Islands remains in force, which means that everyone (of all nationality from all countries) over 12 years of age must present proof of vaccination, or a negative test result (PCR or antigen), or a certificate that they have passed the illness at reception when they are checking in to their accommodation.
The following are excluded from this rule:
– People who can prove they are residents of the Canary Islands (TIE or green residencia card or certificate. NIE is NOT proof of residency) and declare that they have not left the islands in the 15 days prior to staying at the establishment, and that also in that period they have not had symptoms compatible with COVID-19. (Although most complexes are asking for the certificate which they are entitled to do).
– People, regardless of where they are from, who can prove that they have been in the Canary Islands for longer than 15 days, without leaving the islands for a period of more than 72 hours during that time, and have not had symptoms compatible with COVID-19.
