El BOE publicado el viernes 26 de febrero incluye una extensión de la restricción temporal a los viajes no esenciales desde terceros países a la Unión Europea y países Schengen para evitar un aumento de infecciones por Covid-19 hasta el 31 de marzo. Inicialmente, las restricciones debían finalizar el 28 de enero.
Los terceros países y regiones administrativas especiales cuyos residentes no se ven afectados por la restricción temporal de viajes no esenciales a la UE son Australia, Nueva Zelanda, Ruanda, Singapur, Corea del Sur, Tailandia, China y Hong Kong.
También se ha publicado la prórroga del cierre de las fronteras con Portugal hasta el 16 de marzo.

BOE published on Friday, February 26 includes an extension of the temporary restriction on non-essential travel from third countries to the European Union and Schengen countries in order to avoid an increase in infections by Covid-19 until March 31st. Initially, the restrictions were to end on January 28. The third countries and special administrative regions whose residents are not affected by the temporary restriction of non-essential travel to the EU are Australia, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, China and Hong Kong.
In the same BOE of February 26, the extension of the closure of the borders with Portugal until March 16 is published.
