Líbano. Continúan la situación de riesgos para los viajes.
El 9 de diciembre fuentes consulares han emitido advertencias de viaje actualizadas para Líbano, avisando de los riesgos de los viajes al país debido a la situación de seguridad volátil y el riesgo de deterioro adicional de la seguridad.
Varios gobiernos, como los de Estados Unidos, Australia, Alemania, Canadá y Finlandia, han clasificado a Líbano con el nivel más alto de advertencia, sugiriendo evitar cualquier viaje a la región. La razón principal es la posibilidad de un aumento en el conflicto armado que podría afectar áreas más amplias del país, incluyendo el riesgo de cierre del Aeropuerto Internacional Rafic Hariri de Beirut (Código IATA: BEY). Se han registrado actividades militares diarias en el sur de Líbano, incluyendo disparos de cohetes y misiles, así como ataques aéreos.
La situación en Líbano es particularmente peligrosa debido a la presencia de grupos militantes y la amenaza continua de ataques terroristas. Lebanon. Travel risk situation continues.
On 9 December consular sources have issued updated travel advisories for Lebanon, warning of the risks of travel to the country due to the volatile security situation and the risk of further deterioration of security.
Several governments, including the United States, Australia, Germany, Canada and Finland, have classified Lebanon with the highest level of warning, suggesting avoiding any travel to the region. The main reason is the possibility of an increase in armed conflict that could affect wider areas of the country, including the risk of closure of Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport (IATA code: BEY). Daily military activity has been reported in southern Lebanon, including rocket and missile fire, as well as air strikes.
The situation in Lebanon is particularly dangerous due to the presence of militant groups and the continued threat of terrorist attacks. Recent tensions and conflicts in the Middle East region, including the confrontation between Israel and Hamas, have contributed to this insecure environment. Should the security situation deteriorate further, there may be significant limitations on the ability of foreign governments to provide assistance.
